Test Description

Pregnancy test A pregnancy test is a method to determine whether you are pregnant or not. Some important aspects of a pregnancy test are location and timing. The most important factor is the sensitivity of the pregnancy test kit, or how well your body can detect a positive result. An early morning urine stick test is the quickest, easiest, and one of the least expensive tests on hand. Other choices include blood and saliva tests.
Chlamydia test Chlamydia test is a simple blood test used to screen for the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis and its presence in the body. The test is most suitable for testing women who have had sexual relations with any men over a period of time, but can also screen anyone who has an abnormal vaginal discharge.
Blood Count In general, blood count is the measurement of the number of red blood cell, white blood cell and platelets in various sample. It can be performed manually or by counting the number through an automated washing system
UTI Test UTI test is a urine test for the detection of bacterial infections. It confirms the presence of bacteria and can also help in determining whether some people have more severe symptoms than others. UTI symptoms include a burning sensation when you pee, cloudy or bloody urine, swollen ankles and discomfort during sex.
Ultrasound Ultrasound is an imaging technique that makes use of high-frequency sound waves and their reflections to create an image of a body cavity or internal organ. It is used in both diagnostic and therapeutic applications, although it is most commonly used as a diagnostic tool to visualize different structures within the body.
Iron Level Test Iron Level Test is a once-a-day, urine test that screens for signs of anemia. Anemia is a condition in which your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen to your tissues and organs. A low iron level — sometimes called iron deficiency anemia — can develop when you have chronic illness or if you have less iron than the amount needed to carry out everyday functions.
Toxoplasma A parasitic disease known as toxoplasmosis is caused by the Toxoplasma gondii parasite. The parasite is mainly spread through poor hygiene, through eating contaminated food and most notably, through cat feces. Cats are the main carriers for Toxoplasmosis (although infected dogs can pass the disease), and it’s possible to get toxoplasmosis if you live in a household with no cats (or no cats present at all).
Syphilis Syphilis is a bacterial infection that can cause serious health problems. People with syphilis may have any or all of these symptoms: fever and muscle aches, rash on the face or shaft of the penis called condylomas, sore throat and swollen glands (lymph nodes).
Rubella Rubella is a viral disease that is transmitted through direct contact with infected fluids. Rubella is most commonly contracted during early childhood, and symptoms of rubella infection generally occur within two weeks of exposure.
Cytomegalovirus Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a common, lifelong infection that causes mild to severe diseases in immunocompromised people. The virus is spread through contact with infected bodily fluids, such as saliva, urine, and/or blood, of someone with CMV.
Herpes Simplex Virus 2 Herpes simplex virus (HSV), also known as herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2), is a very common viral infection caused by the herpes simplex viruses. The main signs of herpes are fever, muscle pains, swollen glands, headache and sore throats.
